I appreciate their hard work and meticulous planning in showcasing this collective cultural heritage of Southeast Asia. Special thanks to the artists and performers who will showcase their talents with grace and skill, captivating the audience with performances that will be instrumental in bringing the rich cultural heritage of the Ramayana epic to the present world.

Celebrating Collective Cultural Heritage Across Southeast Asia

The Ramayana, an ancient epic, has deeply influenced the cultural, religious, and artistic traditions of many Southeast Asian countries.

The Global Ramayana Festival aims to leverage this shared heritage to promote inter-cultural dialogue and collaboration among Southeast Asian nations.

Global Ramayana Week festival will establish a Southeast Asian Cultural Consortium and Ramayana Institute dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting the diverse cultural heritage of the Ramayana across Southeast Asia, fostering stronger cultural connections, mutual appreciation, improved trade, and relationships among these nations.

Performances

An evening showcase of traditional Ramayana performances from Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Fiji and Myanmar. Artist and singers from southeast Asia will perform Ram bhajan.

Yoga and Ayurveda

The event could feature diverse yoga sessions, from energizing power yoga to gentle restorative flows, alongside interactive Ayurvedic workshops and food stalls offering balanced meals and herbal teas.

Cultural Workshops

Interactive workshops where artists can share insights into their traditional art forms.

Food Court

Various food stalls offering diverse culinary experiences from southeast Asia.

Exhibition

Displays of handcraft, traditional costume and other artifacts related to southeast Asia.
